ARA-290 (Cibinetide) is a research-use-only peptide compound. ARA-290 is an 11-amino acid peptide derived from the helix-B surface domain of erythropoietin (EPO). It selectively binds the innate repair receptor, a heterodimer of the EPO receptor and the β-common receptor (CD131), and has been investigated for anti-inflammatory and tissue-protective activity without the erythropoietic effects of EPO.
